About the Role:
Credible is looking for a General Manager that will be responsible for owning the management and execution of Credibleās Mortgage product vertical. Reporting to Credibleās Chief Revenue Officer, this is a high-visibility role, with a clear mandate, that will have a significant impact on the companyās overall business objectives. This role will be ultimately accountable for the growth, profitability, and user experience for Mortgage.
Credibleās mortgage platform matches high-intent consumers with leading mortgage lenders through a best-in-class comparison and shopping experience. As such, we are looking for an ambitious individual with a background in leading a direct-to-consumer mortgage business with a track-record for being high-performing, analytical and strategically-minded. The successful candidate will be eager to step-up and embrace significant responsibility and accountability in a high-growth company, and operate within the Executive levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Cross-functional coordination, development and execution of key initiatives and goals
- Ownership of the Mortgage roadmap, which will leverage the domain expertise of key stakeholders in order to determine their resourcing and prioritizationĀ
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve and accelerate the development of the Mortgage product vertical
- Conduct in-depth analysis and develop deep understanding of key value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities within MortgageĀ
- Participate in the setting of company budgets and long-range planning
- Create a motivating cross-functional team environment
- Identify, manage, execute, and measure the impact of new projects that generate meaningful growth for the business
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of mortgage experience, preferably within a tech-forward player in the industry
- P&L ownership experience with a focus on customer acquisition is requiredĀ
- 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years of experience at a consumer tech company
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communications, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation skills - capable of developing and delivering compelling presentations, and running efficient and productive meetings
- Highly analytical, strategic, and creative thinker with strong business acumen and modeling skills
- Possess strong operational and strategy experience, preferably at a fast-growing company
- Have a demonstrated ability to drive business results in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Have the ability to create structure and develop rigor in driving initiatives that are open-ended and problems that are unstructured
- Can be influential within the organization to garner internal support for key initiatives
- Humble, not territorial, collaborative, high EQ and IQ

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $163,000 - $208,800 annually for California, New York City, and Westchester County, NY; $163,000 - $208,800 annually for Colorado and Washington. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, stock incentive plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
