Geriatric psychiatry opportunity

The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is pleased to announce a new opportunity in Geriatric Psychiatry. We are inviting dedicated professionals to join our mission to provide exceptional mental health care for our aging veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment for older veterans with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, dementia, etc.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including primary care physicians, social workers, psychologists, and nursing staff
• Address complex psychiatric and cognitive needs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development aimed at enhancing mental health services for aging veterans

Academic opportunity with Nova University available

Must be BE/BC in General Adult psychiatry

No State Income tax

Student Loan Repayment available

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
