What will you do?

The Environmental Commodities Services Analyst joins a team of experienced professionals in renewable energy commodity procurement and advisory services supporting many of the largest organizations in the world with global strategy and procurement of EACs. The Analyst will support and assist, through administrative activities, in the delivery of high-impact services and solutions that create client value, financial and environmental impact reductions, and track performance against client goals and strategies.

Activities include:

  • Assist and support global EC Operations teammates, managers, and clients in implementing sustainable energy strategies and solutions.
  • Provide tactical operations services to fulfill Schneider Environmental Commodities services to clients, including tactical deployment across a broad spectrum of support opportunities and service requirements.
  • Administer and support various procurement and advisory service-related team obligations such as environmental commodities market research, checking, updating and maintenance of environmental tracking and registration systems and associated record keeping, supplier invoice payment, and back-office onboarding of potential new counterparties for EAC trades, data collection.
  • Provide general support to EC Services delivery function by organizing and updating bid data inputs, entering data into Schneider databases and software platforms.
  • Assist in the production and administration of Sales/client facing deliverables.
  • Support Global EC Management, Managers, and Consultants with various projects and recurring tasks.

What skills and qualifications will make you successful?

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, International Relations, Administration or related.
  • 2+ years of related professional experience
  • Portuguese language fluency (verbal and written)
  • English language fluency (verbal and written)
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Great organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and successful experience managing data and assignments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - clear, objective, and concise delivery
  • An interest in pursuing a career in emerging energy commodities and services
  • Analytical and proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Desirable
  • Spanish language
  • Consulting or advisory experience
  • Knowledge and experience with environmental commodities in global or regional markets
  • Energy or environmental commodity procurement experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Contract management experience
  • Back-office experience
