About the position:

This role will be an integral part of the Ethics, Risk, & Compliance team and will work closely with our Legal, Finance, People, Product, and Global Operations teams.   This role will ensure that the Company not only adheres to fraud prevention and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, but also establishes a strong framework to prevent such risk. 

The role will be based in Canada, Ireland, or the US, with an emphasis on building a global fraud prevention and AML program. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with continuous change due to our constantly changing external and internal environment, working at the pace of the business, and delivering on multiple simultaneous priorities. The successful candidate will work with colleagues across different departments and time zones.


What you'll do:

  • Work with key stakeholders across the organization to develop, deliver, and implement a scalable fraud prevention and AML program.
  • Continually analyze current data sets and tools to make fraud prevention recommendations and implement best practices. Establish data models and analytics for fraud analysis.
  • Review internal and industry fraud prevention and AML trends. Make recommendations to stakeholders for improvement as necessary.
  • Work with Product to develop a “fraud prevention by design” procedure for platform and application development.
  • Establish an AML investigation procedure. Lead regular investigations and issue reports and recommendations.
  • Complete transaction and activity reviews on accounts
  • Conduct trainings and presentations on related topics and trends.
  • Ad hoc assignments, as needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Graduate degree is a plus.
  • Global Professional Accreditation – Certifications such as CFE and/or CAMS
  • 10+ years of fraud prevention and/or AML experience.  Additional experience in analytics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC and FinCEN requirements 
  • Experience operationalizing a fraud prevention and/or AML program. 
  • Ability to analyze and discern data sets and make recommendations. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and talk to all levels of an organization. 
  • Detail oriented and organized with sound decision-making ability. 
  • Track record of successfully juggling multiple functions, projects, and priorities 
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and shift direction when priorities change. 
  • Comfortable in a global, fast paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace. 
  • Proactive with strong problem-solving skills 
  • Experience supporting a global company with a global mindset and the ability to execute locally. 
  • Experience testing, monitoring, and auditing human resources’ processes and collaboratively developing remediation plans. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to pragmatically weigh risks and benefits of complex situations.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus dependent on various factors, including and without limitation, individual and company performance in addition to base salary.
