Global HR Business Partner

Instructure is seeking a dynamic Sr. People Business Partner (HRBP) with prior experience fully partnering and supporting multiple departments/teams. The ideal candidate will be someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and apply excellent business instincts, develop talent, use data to drive decisions, and help maintain an environment where employees can thrive. The position will be responsible for employees based in Eastern Europe and will support our engineering and product teams at a minimum. 

What you will be doing:

• Partner with employees and management across all levels of the organization
• Advise leaders on people issues including performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and other areas as needed
• Partner with People team to manage compensation programs including salary and equity reviews, market adjustments and promotions
• Train leaders on management best practices
• Provide leaders with proactive solutions to facilitate meeting business goals
• Promote a culture of excellent customer experience, openness, ownership, trust, integrity, excellence and simplicity

Here's what you need to know/have:

• BS Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of HR experience managing employee relations concerns and supporting business leaders as an HR Business Partner. 
• Solid understanding of compensation management including variable pay, bonus administration, and equity awards
• Experience navigating and managing HRIS data, preferably in Workday
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills in business performance are required
• Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships and partner with all levels of management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve problems and issues creatively
• Attention to detail, organized and desire for continuous improvement and innovation
• Unquestionable integrity and discretion
• Confident, self-starter with ability to proactively address employee needs
• MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH HUNGARIAN AND ENGLISH, both written and verbal

Preference will be given to candidates with these skills:

• Preference for candidates currently residing in the Budapest area or can commute to that local office 2 or more times a week
• Human Resource support to employees in multiple countries, including the US and EMEA
• Working within a SaaS, Engineering or Technical Organization
• Preference for candidates that reside in Budapest and/or can commute to office
