Global Mobility Specialist - EMEA
Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a Global Mobility Specialist to join our International Practice Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support EMEA mobility international and domestic relocations, including Sweden, Ireland, France, the UK, etc.
- Support clients' EMEA mobility teams in managing intra-EMEA relocations
- Consult directly with Recruiters, Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to help guide them through the mobility process and client policy
- Consult with and support employees directly, providing the best possible customer support
- Initiate all mobility actions, including cost estimate requests and immigration initiations
- Handle work permit processes for Sweden, Ireland, the UK and other EMEA countries.
- Follow all client processes, policies and ensure all systems and documentation are kept up to date
- Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed throughout the mobility process
- Partner with third-party providers (Mobility, Immigration, Tax) to develop solutions for special cases
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining Mobility Case Management system
- Assess and advise on immigration program matters and cases in conjunction with local partners for EMEA region
- Partner with the internal client teams on immigration audits, document maintenance and process improvements
Qualification Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associate degree, or paralegal certification is acceptable.
- At least 4+ years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal, attorney, business immigration coordinator, immigration consultant, or global mobility specialist, preferred).
- Speak, read and write in English and have experience in international regions.
- Possess strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes in EMEA to include Sweden, Ireland, France, and the UK.
- Ability to professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, with clear, concise, and grammatically correct content and form with individuals in supporting EMEA region.
- Ability to work with multiple teams across multiple time zones.
- Possess strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes in EMEA region.
- Be fluent with web-based immigration case management systems and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and information, continuously and accurately.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly MS excel, including pivot tables, and charts, and creating presentations in power point.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain performance level in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priority levels and specific deadlines.
- Ability to recognize and escalate case issues to supervisor.
- Ability to adapt to the workflow for the team of attorneys.
- Ability to contribute to positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork.
