The Role

TaxBit has been building its global partnerships organization and one of the top priorities is to drive alliances with the world’s leading accounting firms, global systems integrators, and technology companies in order to better help businesses accelerate their adoption of digital assets with TaxBit’s industry leading technology. 

We are looking for a highly experienced partner leader to drive the GTM activity with the world’s largest accounting firms (“Big 4”). Responsibilities will include driving C-level and field relationships with Big 4 account teams and the TaxBit sales field, and establishing and executing joint GTM plans and solution-building globally. You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of TaxBit’s tax and accounting solutions for the tokenized economy by establishing and growing business and technical relationships while managing the day-to-day partner interactions. You will be the go-to subject matter expert on TaxBit’s Big 4 alliance program, executing education and awareness campaigns internally and at the partner leadership level across all sectors and service lines.

The ideal candidate will have both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level, as well as a sales background that enables them to manage joint GTM efforts and to easily interact with enterprise customers, Big 4 account teams, and TaxBit teams including industry/SME, sales, solution engineering, marketing, finance, and product. This role requires deep knowledge and experience in building and growing large global technology & services alliances, driving joint sales and marketing success, and negotiating key commercial agreements. This role also includes driving Big 4 participation and engagement in TaxBit’s global partner programs, partner marketing, partner enablement, partner service delivery, and partner co-selling initiatives. 

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and entrepreneurship is a must, as is experience working for or with Big 4 accounting firms, as an employee, partner, or client. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive TaxBit’s GTM strategy with Big 4 accounting firms, including revenue generation, marketing, and solutions development
  • You will orchestrate across Big 4 sales and solution engineering teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and revenue worldwide
  • Cultivate executive relationships with partners, optimize Big 4 partner contributions through business reviews, identify additional business opportunities to expand revenue, and deploy a joint sales approach 
  • Facilitate business and strategic cases for 'first-of-their-kind' partnership opportunities and drive consensus among decision-makers
  • Work with marketing and sales on the execution of events, engagements, and building playbooks and collateral to enable Big 4 partners to sell into customers effectively  
  • Partner with industry (SME), product, and engineering teams to develop roadmaps for future offerings and integrations with key tax & accounting partners inline with customers needs, new market requirements, and the competitive landscape
  • Support the development of operational processes and legal contract details with partners through collaboration with TaxBit operations, legal, and finance teams
  • Report out on a regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to all key stakeholders, with a strong analytical approach and crisp communication style
  • Be a primary point of contact and key internal advocate within TaxBit for the partners

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in a client-facing, revenue-generating role
  • 5+ years of managing partnerships and alliances in a high growth environment
  • Experience working for or with Big 4 accounting firms, as an employee, partner, or client
  • Professional and technical knowledge as well as an understanding of crypto regulatory, tax, and accounting industry trends, as well as key players in the competitive landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges; ability to build and convey compelling value propositions 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with deep experience presenting to senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-value deals with a C-level audience and positively influence the outcome
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
  • Flexible and comfortable with feedback and change during projects
  • Willingness to travel (once it is safe to do so in the future)
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years of managing partnerships and alliances with Big 4 accounting firms
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company with the ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
  • MBA or other advanced degree
