The opportunity

We are looking for a data-driven Global Web Product Manager who will be responsible with helping to lead innovation and optimization of our website for the Abbott Diabetes Care FreeStyle Libre brand. This role will be instrumental in leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement a global approach to our web and omni-channel orchestration and optimization. You will work with marketing leadership and other cross-functional teams to create and execute the unified website blueprint for consumers, healthcare providers and payers.

As our Web Product Manager, you'll coordinate projects throughout the lifecycle, from planning through technical and creative dependencies, production, QA, launch, and post-launch analysis. You must have a solid background in editing for the web, especially hands-on experience with headless CMS (ideally Adobe Experience Manager), A/B and multivariate testing, and technical site optimization.

What you'll work on

  • Provide implementation and authoring support for global site unification in AEM (headless and omni-channel orchestration) and other content management systems, in conjunction with digital asset management systems
  • Manage taxonomy and meta data tagging within CMS systems (AEM and others).
  • Modify headless CMS templates, front-end UI with React or other headless front-end technologies
  • Support development of globally unified web product experience in partnership with Global Marketing, Product, Content, CS, Brand and IT partners across UX, Content Strategy, MarTech systems

    • Work with Product Marketing, Brand Ops and Content Strategy teams to build requirements for modules and templates for a variety of segments and audiences
    • Build scalable web templates, playbooks and governance, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform hypotheses and recommendations
  • Support Area and Country teams in driving best in class website by understanding business requirements and developing optimized journeys from consideration to retention
  • In partnership with agency partners, project manage with regions/countries launch of global unified web for each country
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal marketing teams to develop goals, KPIs, wireframes, and designs/copy for new features and pages
  • Collaborate with IT teams to deliver effective and compelling online experiences through product lifecycle by providing user stories, functional requirements, and participating in UAT, launch and post-launch activities
  • Manage process for global content approvals through medical, legal, regulatory
  • Audit technical infrastructure, page load, site architecture and site features, and execute site improvements to enhance the effectiveness of our SEO and onsite experience
  • Partner with our analytics team to stand up web measurement. Lay out the framework for measurement and reporting to monitor and improve the performance of our website
  • Create requirements and actionable updates from analytics and insights
  • Develop insights for web experimentation based on web analytics and user behavior to maximize success metrics for key customer segments
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving consideration, acquisition and retention generating leads from website visitors
  • Support execution of personalization strategies

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree with at least 4-6 years related experience, with at least one year of experience in marketing or product management, or MBA with 1-3 yrs related experience
  • Experience in execution of strategic digital marketing plans
  • Expertise in SEO and SEM best practices. Solid understanding of technical SEO including sitemaps, meta tags, JavaScript indexing, linking, redirects, keyword research, etc.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in web product management, marketing, e-commerce or similar role
  • Have a track-record of demonstrating an extraordinary level of ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people outside your immediate team and get things done through influence rather than authority
  • Ability to craft business cases to influence and advocate with different cross-functional partners
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to align efforts across multiple department
  • Experience and knowledge of web marketing tools across content management (AEM/Contentful/Adobe Modular Content), web analytics (Adobe Analytics), attribution/tracking (GTM, Adobe), and SEO (SEMRush/Crownpeak/Ahrefs/Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog)
  • Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of React, GraphQL, Material beneficial
  • Knowledge of Atomic Design beneficial

The base pay for this position is

$104,300.00 - $208,500.00
