About This OpportunityRachio seeks a Go-to-Market Manager who will provide data-driven business insights for new products, features and services, that help the team ensure launch readiness and manage short-term/long-term Product Marketing planning. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work cross-functionally with other teams such as Sales, Product, and Customer Service. As a key member of the Marketing team, you will analyze data on products and relevant categories to develop the right Go-to-Market strategy and execution plan to bring these new products and services to market. This includes analyzing promotional opportunities, understanding the market, and performing in-depth market research. You will help drive business across channels such as Consumer, Pro, Utility, Retail, and more. You must have a passion for product marketing, knowing the ins and outs of every new and existing Rachio product or service, while being able to explain solutions in the most understanding and effective manner.
What You’ll Do- Spearhead the development of go-to-market strategies for a variety of products, services, and features
- Work with the Product and Engineering teams to know the ins-and-outs of every new product and service - partnering during the research and development of every new offering.
- You will be the expert on the product on the marketing team, working with the other departments to craft the most effective plans, be it the Brand team, Growth team or other functions
- Work cross-functionally to initiate and lead go-to-market activities that help Rachio achieve ambitious sales goals
- Partner closely with the Sales team to execute strategies for current and future hardware/software
- Analyze and synthesize critical data to develop insights that improve Rachio’s competitive position in the market
- Research, build, and maintain a competitive landscape tracker, continually bringing information from our competitors to the Marketing and Product teams
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing management, project management, or relevant fields
- Experience launching physical products - ideally tech, but not required - and knowing the steps it takes to get from ideation to market
- Experience developing and executing operational and strategic initiatives at a national level
- Experience developing value propositions, market research, and thinking through all factors when it comes to launching new offerings
- You’ve worked with multiple facets of marketing, so you can seamlessly work with channel marketing, digital marketing, PR or any other function
- An analytics mindset with the ability to find & evaluate market information in order to develop analysis that can be understood at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams, understanding how they perform research and using that knowledge to create marketing plans
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges
- The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 with a bonus structure based on individual and company performance

- This is a remote position
- Travel expectations: minimal, less than 5%
