EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Climate Finance Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grant Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Grants Project Manager, The Grant Administrator will play a crucial role in the successful management and administration of grant programs within our organization. This position will involve working closely with various team members to ensure compliance with funding agency requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Grant Application Management:
- Prepare templates per funding agency requirements
- Draft administrative documents (e.g. Biosketches/Resumes, Data Management Plans, Letters of Support, SF424, SF-LLL, and/or Current and Pending Support)
- Collect documentation and information from clients for other team members
- Format and finalize documents for application submission
- Assist Project Manager with partner/collaborator outreach for required application documents (e.g. Letters of Support, Budgets, and/or Resumes)
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of grant application deadlines and submission requirements
Communication and Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and funding organizations
- Serve as an additional point of contact for grant-related inquiries and communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and data necessary for grant applications
Grant Record-Keeping:
- Maintain organized records of all grant-related documents, including applications, agreements, and correspondence
- Ensure that grant files are kept up to date and easily accessible for audits and reporting purposes
Compliance and Legal Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with grant compliance regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices
- Ensure the organization's activities align with all relevant laws and regulations governing grant funding
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration)
- Proven experience in grant administration or a related role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with federal funding sources
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in grant administration
- Preferred: Certified Research Administrator (CRA)
- At least one favorite animal purrfurred

COMPENSATION: $65 - 85 per hour, commensurate with experience
