Your impact

The Grants Manager will advance Correlation One’s business opportunities in the areas of U.S. domestic and international workforce development. This role will support the overall grants program, including identifying and helping to secure state and federal government funding, as well as funding from international agencies. Primary responsibilities include researching and tracking opportunities, relationship management, preparing and submitting grant proposals, supporting grant compliance, and grant reports.

This role is based in Washington D.C., but is a remote opportunity. The role requires extensive in person meetings in the D.C. area. 

A day in the life

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Grant Research, Proposal Development & Grant Writing: 

  • Prospect research to identify, evaluate, and track funding opportunities focusing on state and federal government funding, international funding and RFP analysis
  • Collaborate with the grants team to set and meet deadlines for grant proposal development and submission
  • Develop grant narratives, budgets, and supporting documents
  • Write, prepare, and submit governmental grant proposals
  • Manage time-sensitive submission deadlines 

Administration, Reporting & Internal Processes: 

  • Review contract award documents, communicate compliance and award conditions to key project staff 
  • Coordinate submission of timely and accurate grant reporting (progress/interim reports, year-end, financial reporting, program data, and special reports as required) to ensure proper and timely acknowledgment and reporting of all grant funding
  • Develop written profiles of funders to prepare program/development staff and leadership for grants-related meetings

Essential Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, 5 to 7 years of work experience, including 3+ years of relevant grant writing/coordination experience with demonstrated success in securing grants from state, federal and international funders (success in one or more of these areas).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Self-directed and able to meet multiple concurrent deadlines under pressure
  • Ability to accept and manage fluctuating priorities with a positive and energetic attitude
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
  • Salesforce, Microsoft 365 experience preferred
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and conscientious with ability to prioritize effectively, juggle multiple responsibilities, project manage and meet deadlines

The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $100,000. Please note that the shared range is specific to the United States. The range only reflects the base salary and does not reflect bonus, equity or benefits.
