Group Manager - RM Campaign Operations
Job Description
• Understand the architecture and functional components for product data signals needed to realize marketing campaign strategy
• Understand business requirements, map requirements against available data attributes, determine data gaps, and determine optimal data segmentation strategy
• Understand business requirements and perform User Acceptance Testing of the newly onboarded data signals for building marketing campaigns
• Evaluate the functional performance of Big Data queries and identify and implement corrective measures
• Evaluate non-functional performance such as memory usage and execution time of Big Data queries and identify and implement corrective measures
• Design, code, and test data segmentation scripts for marketing campaigns
• Implement best practices in data segmentation scripts for increased automation and re-usability
• Setting up a process to triage production incidents, determine the severity and impact of the incidents, determine root cause, and implement both short term and long-term corrective measures
• Review design, code, and testing artifacts from vendor teams
• Partnering closely with our many stakeholder teams including Robotic Operations, Core Services Engineering, Operational AI, Capability, Operational Data, Marketing Service Center, Data Services, Analytics, and Field Marketing teams
• Develop the standard ways of operating and building within the tech platform in a way that is robust, secure, efficient, accessible, sustainable, scalable
• Prioritizing your team's work and running an agile process in the context of our big bets, initiatives, business priorities, and aligning with other teams needed to deliver capabilities
• Ensuring business processes, system operations and other technical processes are well documented, so teams do not need to rely on tribal knowledge
• Identifying problems and issues quickly, and running a process to communicate to stakeholders, assess impact, coordinate fixes across teams, and resolve issues
• Understanding business and technical requirements and constraints, and leading and driving the effort to translate those requirements into strategic marketing solutionsQualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
o OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
o OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experience
o OR equivalent experience.• 1+ year(s) people management experience.• 3+ years technology/process improvement experience.
• Direct experience in running a Marketing Technology function
• 3+ years working in SQL, NoSQL or Big Data systems
• Demonstrated expert skills in data modeling and Big Data architecture
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams
• Ability to being able to remove roadblocks across organizational boundaries and with other senior leaders
• Ability to run and support a strong prioritization process that creates clarity for stakeholders on what will happen, and what will not happen
• Ability to communicate hard, complex, nuanced problems in a way that people who are not close to them can understand
• Ability to foster innovation and problem solving while helping the team learn and grow including providing feedback, seeing around corners, and understanding gaps
• Innate passion and drive to do things in a robust, scalable, and efficient way - but also able to balance with pragmatic progress
• Demonstrated expert skills in troubleshooting, analysis and logic
• Passion to improve process, streamline technology, and improve performance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including presenting and leading discussions with senior executives and managing communications across functions and organizations
• Experience partnering with vendors and leading large external, remote/virtual teams

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $129,800 and $194,800.
At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
