  • Be the voice of the customer and help keep new feature development on track while working closely with a growing engineering team located on- and off-shore
  • Work directly with our local business operations and customers around the world to define feature requirements and then collaborate with engineering leads to spec technical requirements
  • Work closely with the Algo Data Science and ML team to co-develop models, provide feedback on the Algo outputs that are live, and help troubleshoot bugs impacting customers as they emerge
  • Leverage the wealth of behavioral data you have access to as well as qualitative inputs to scope new features and influence decisions related to new functionality
  • Develop the roadmap, define epics, write stories and test features before deployment
  • Partner closely with design and engineering to manage the development cycle
  • Design success metrics and work with the Data Product team to monitor performance of each feature release

About You

  • You are sensitive to customer needs and excited to work on a platform that will be used directly by millions of retailers around the world
  • A fast learning, self-starter who is unafraid to dive into real customer problems, develop new ideas and meet our users with new features as they evolve
  • A creative thinker – enjoys challenges and has a passion for discovery through data and experimentation to understand customer behaviors and the impact of both Product and Algorithmic changes in the market
  • A strong communicator, who can lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, understand quantitative and qualitative analyses and insights to develop concrete steps that inform the team’s feature roadmap
  • Experience working with recommendation modules/Algorithmic use cases at a large or venture-backed tech company is a plus

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree required; computer science, mathematics or related field is a plus, or job experience in an analytical position
  • 3+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery; experience at a fast-paced tech company is a plus
  • Experience with managing products through the full life cycle: strategy, development, launch, optimization, and sunset
  • Experience in qualitative user testing and quantitative A/B testing, always with an eye towards robust results tracking and clear measures for success
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (local Business Operations, other Product & Engineering teams, Revenue Management, etc.) to leverage best practices across teams, manage technical resources effectively, and deliver on Algo Selling feature roadmap
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams, and simultaneously being open to and responding flexibly to change in a dynamic commercial environment
  • Experience in program and people management is a plus
