HCM Data Expert to play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and optimizing our human capital management (HCM) data. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of HR processes, data structures, and reporting tools in Workday HCM platform.


 

Job Description

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain data integrity within the HCM system (Workday).

  • Oversee data migration and upgrades as needed which migrating from one system to another.

  • Develop and implement data quality checks and validation rules to ensure accuracy and consistency during User Acceptance Testing.

  • Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, working with relevant stakeholders to address root causes.

  • Collaborate with IT to maintain system security and prevent data breaches.

  • Support in implementation of data governance policies and procedures.

  • Support in data accuracy through regular audits and data cleansing activities.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM/Information Technology/Business Administration (with a focus on HR or data analysis)

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)

  • At least 5+ years (minimum) of hands-on experience working with at least one major HCM system (e.g. Workday, SAP). This should include:

  • Navigating the system, understanding its data structure, and performing data entry and maintenance.

  • Generating standard reports and extracting data for analysis.

  • Ideally, experience with system configuration, data migration, or integrations.

  • Involvement in data cleansing and data quality improvement initiatives.

  • Understanding of core HR functions (e.g., talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations) and their associated data.

  • Experience participating in or leading HR technology projects, such as system implementations or upgrades.
