The COVID-19 pandemic has caused massive shifts in the way that consumers think about healthcare. Once willing to disrupt their daily routines and seek care from a doctor for every illness, ailment, or injury, patients have realized that healthcare can (and should) be delivered on their own terms, in the comfort of their own homes. In particular, testing and diagnostics- the entry point to understanding your health - has been revolutionized into a consumer-facing business. People have realized that they can cut out the overly-complex, expensive medical system by leveraging new delivery modalities for testing. By doing this, every person has the ability to understand what’s happening within their bodies and truly own their own health.
Our heathcare venture was created as a joint venture between LivePerson, a publicly traded conversational AI platform company, and Pasaca Capital, the owner of numerous healthcare diagnostics and clinical laboratory businesses, to revolutionize the testing space. Claire is working to build the consumer marketplace for testing and screening services that will shift care to the home, create standards that improve the experience, and bring resources directly to the consumer. Through cutting-edge technology, clinical engines that identify a person’s likely testing needs, and simple tie-ins to clinical support, we are poised to transform how every American receives diagnostic care.Â
Overview:
At Claire, we imagine a world where clinicians, consumers, and payers have access to all the information they need to make smarter, more cost-effective decisions about patient care. Our intuitive, user-friendly diagnostic solutions leverage artificial intelligence and predictive analytics models to make this world a reality. We are looking for an experienced Head of Business Development with a strong track record of success to lead our next stage of growth in the US.You will be responsible for managing and developing the US Market at a hyper growth rate in line with the company's overall business strategy. The role requires a keen understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, and significant business experience working in a growth phase technology company or startup. Â
You will:Â
- Lead the US business to overachievement on defined revenue goals by building a sales pipeline.
- Leverage entrepreneurial skills to define the market, prospect for key customers, and close deals.
- Uphold the revenue performance standards.
- Build relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders within the health system, health provider, and payer verticals.
- Build and execute the strategic vision and plan to expand and develop the Healthcare business in the US.
- Work closely with the Product team to meet and exceed client expectations, and resolve operations issues in a timely manner for new clients.
- Partner with Marketing to optimize Go-To-Market strategies and effectiveness.
- Represent the company in all commercial engagements and meetings with key clients and business partners in the US.
- Evaluate and analyze effectiveness of specific GTM models and programs.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and partners.
- Manage a small but growing team of sales representatives.
You have:
- 8+ years of B2B sales/business development experience.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare technology industry and Diagnostic testing world.Â
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare diagnostics sales to B2B audiences.
- Demonstrated management experience, including hiring and building teams.Â
- Experience in building Distribution channels.
- Strong leadership skills and a confident decision maker.
- Solid business and financial acumen and reporting skills.
- Strong track record as a sales manager.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Proven record of growing a healthcare business across resellers and direct channels.
- Experience working in a dynamic and fast paced working environment.
Benefits:Â
The salary range for this role will be between $177,000 to $215,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, your location, and your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. During the phone screening, the recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role. The compensation package also includes the following benefits, which may be updated from time to time:
