Tecovas is looking for a Head of Ecommerce to lead and steward an ecommerce growth strategy that reflects Tecovas’ commitment to quality, connection, and service. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for building a best-in-class digital ecosystem that drives business growth by connecting the right customers with the right messaging at the right time. As the Head of Ecommerce, you are a resourceful, data science driven, collaborative leader, an analytics guru, an acquisition visionary, an optimization tinkerer, and obsessed with efficiently driving value to both the customer and the business
This position is a hybrid role with the candidate strongly encouraged to work from our HQ office in Austin, TX with the ability to work remotely on other days.Â
What you’ll do:
- Develop Tecovas ecommerce strategy in alignment with long-range business priorities to drive revenue, increase market share, and build the long-term equity of the brand
- Build a seasonal ecom plan that integrates key brand moments, key shopping moments and any necessary sales mitigations to link sales and marketing initiatives across all ecommerce channels
- Partner with Planning, Product, and Supply Chain teams to maintain appropriate sell through and merchandising of limited life items and forecasting of new product launches
- Develop innovative marketing and sales initiatives that have omni-channel impact for the brand, empowering the team to measure and optimize performance and understand user behavior across all digital levers to provide insights on how to optimize in the futureÂ
- Own full ecommerce P&L: Create the optimal consumer journey while delivering on revenue goals, including ongoing analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of website sales, methods, costs and results. Develop strategies to deliver financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns), including analyzing sales and productivity of items and categories to share learnings and create action plans in collaboration with cross-functional business partners.Â
- Lead Demand Marketing Team in building a comprehensive strategic media plan, from gathering insights and trends, to translating our target demand spaces into media targets, to comms strategy, to executing best-in-class media planning with the right mix of cutting edge and tried-and-true levers
- Be a key stakeholder in the development, implementation and design of the new e-commerce platform working in partnership with Tech and Digital Teams. Support a site strategy that integrates industry leading digital product with seamless omni-channel customer experience, campaign and content execution, digital merchandising, and CVR optimizations to drive sales.
- Oversee the development and management of our customer acquisition and retention strategy, increasing repeat rate and driving long-term loyalty
- Creatively translate the brand into all ecommerce touchpoints to create a seamless customer experience that successfully attracts and retains customers
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and ensure alignment across ecommerce initiatives, spearheading enhancements to business systems and workflow that improve processes and overall team efficiency
Experience we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 15 years of relevant business leadership experience and at least 8+ years of experience leading high-performance ecommerce/site experience teams, preferably in a retail driven environment
- Experience managing full P&L of strong e-commerce or omnichannel business with rapid growth trajectory
- Extensive knowledge of the components of a profitable ecommerce business, including digital marketing, site experience, analytics, customer insights, CRM, site merchandising and customer journey optimization
- Proficient with GA360, Google Analytics, SEO, AdWords, Criteo, campaign tagging and channel attribution
