Head of Engineering

We are excited to announce an opening for a Head of Engineering in our dynamic Web3 gaming company. This role is pivotal in leading our engineering team towards technological innovation and excellence. As the Head of Engineering, you will be instrumental in aligning our technology development with the product strategy, working in close collaboration with the Head of Product.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a skilled engineering team, defining and executing a forward-thinking strategy, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Your leadership will ensure that our engineering solutions not only meet, but exceed product needs and market demands, keeping us at the cutting edge of blockchain and gaming technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the engineering team together with our CTO, ensuring close collaboration with the product team for aligned development and implementation.
• Define and drive the engineering strategy, integrating product vision and market trends into technological development.
• Work alongside the product team to synchronize engineering efforts with product roadmaps and timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including our marketing team, support and any other department, to ensure engineering solutions meet product needs and market demands.
• Stay at the forefront of blockchain and gaming technology, ensuring the engineering team drives innovation in line with product goals.

The ideal Head of Engineering is an experienced leader in blockchain technology, skilled in guiding engineering teams and integrating tech innovation with product strategy in Web3 gaming. A background in gaming would be highly desirable but is not required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a strong background in blockchain technology
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
• Experience in Web3 companies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Deep understanding of and passion for blockchain and gaming technologies
