About the Team:
Ledger’s Corporate team serves to maintain state-of-the-art infrastructure and support for scaling the company and providing an engaging work environment for our colleagues. We partner closely with all of the company’s teams to ensure consistency of approach, efficiency, scalability, and coordination across our work efforts. Your role will provide a unique vantage point to impact the company as a whole and the ability to positively influence all aspects of our vision.
The role:
As our Head of Infrastructure and Corporate Technology, you’ll lead all internal systems, technology and cybersecurity initiatives at Ledger Investing.
You Will:
- Oversee the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of Ledger’s technology infrastructure including but not limited to decisions related to HR, Security, Project Management, Capital Markets, Data Science and IT.
- Manage the development and delivery of IT standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the corporate enterprise environment.
- Manage the daily operations and buildout of our Enterprise Hardware (networking, desktop support, audiovisual technicians) and IT Service Desk (service desk, IT training).
- Work with external vendors and partners on implementation of various systems and processes into our corporate environment with minimal disruption to the business.
About you:
- 7+ years of experience in information security and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in management information systems, computer science, or closely related field.
- Technical acumen including but not limited to: OSI framework, IT infrastructure, public cloud operations, application development languages, tools and frameworks, database technologies, web technologies, next gen mobile, network architecture, enterprise architecture, and directory services.
- Security technology acumen and experience including but not limited to firewall, intrusion detection systems, cyber-attack tools and defenses, encryption, certificate authority, web filtering, anti-malware, anti-phishing, identity and access management, data loss prevention and multi-factor authentication.
- Experience working towards information security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, OWASP, etc.), rules and regulations related to information security and confidentiality (e.g., PCI, HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, 508 etc.) and other various security standards and policies.
- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications.
