Head of Infrastructure Engineering

• Partner with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to manage and operate ClickUp SaaS infrastructure in a secure and compliant environment:
• Manage the implementation of application and infrastructure monitoring, incident management and change management workflows, and backup and recovery plans.
• Manage and Scale the Data Infrastructure that empowers ClickUp platform
• Automate all phases of build and deployment pipeline
• Establish operational excellence in maintenance of our SaaS solutions

• Foster and facilitate the professional growth and development of our engineering staff as well as lead effective cross-functional collaboration across groups within the organization
• Build organizational capability within these teams by recruiting and retaining outstanding talent and providing mentoring, training (internal and external), and other opportunities for professional growth and de
• velopment
• Partner with peer functions and organizations to deliver the training and enablement the team requires

• Meet/exceed the security, reliability, performance and scalability requirements required to continue to be the most trusted work platform in the industry
• Work with product teams to understand resiliency, uptime, and capacity requirements and deliver appropriate infrastructure based on those needs.
• Accountability for development of disaster and recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure all products are within SLA for static/dynamic code analysis, patching, penetration testing, and vulnerabilities.

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and environments (public/private) and able to lead the team through strategic architectural decision making and technical challenges in implementation
• Communicate design and decisions and influence technology and product direction of peers and executive leadership
• Make and meet commitments. Communicate change in plans whether they be design or timeline modifications honestly and transparently

• Lead through organizational scale and priority changes
• Streamline and deliver greater efficiency in the engineering organization, both in software development and operational activities
• Drive continuous systems improvement for managing, documenting, staffing, and reviewing engineering projects and services
• Reflect best practices back into our products and recommendations for customer implementations

• 5+ years experience as a leader in DevOps, SRE and / or Technical Operations leading public cloud scale distributed systems, platforms, and services
• Proven experience with production incident detection, response, communications, and remediation
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and environments (public/private) and ability to lead the team through technical challenges in implementation
• Experience with operating Cloud Scale Services - deep understanding of industry best practices and the ability to operate a cloud scale service
• Experience managing teams of 50+ people
