Job Description

About Scratchpad
At Scratchpad, our mission is to make salespeople happy. We believe we can do that by reducing complexity and creating delightful experiences, which has led us to pioneer the first workspace for revenue teams. We take the most tedious parts of daily work and turn them into efficient, delightful experiences that positively impact salespeople's professional and personal lives. But don't take our word for it - read what our customers and top-tier investors are raving about.
The Scratchpad team is defined by our values ; simplicity, ideas, results, speed, delight, and people. We profoundly care about our customers, the work we do, and each other. You'll constantly be learning from your colleagues as we have a strong culture of feedback. We believe it's part of what has made us successful as a "Remote First" company.
Head of People 👥

About the role
Business Partner
You'll be a trusted business partner for our managers and leadership team. You'll provide guidance, coaching, and strategic insight into people management challenges and processes.
Performance Management
You'll implement a robust performance management methodology that ensures our leaders are able to provide relevant and consistent feedback, coaching, and expectation setting for their team. This includes executing a semi-annual compensation review alongside our performance review cycle.
Organizational Development & Career Pathing
You'll work with leadership to understand business needs and suggest best practices for organizational structure and growth within the company. This includes developing a well-defined leveling structure, career paths, and a compensation calculator. You'll then empower our managers to mentor and coach their team.
Culture Champion
You'll develop programs and events that align with and enhance our culture and values. As a remote-first company, we want to invest heavily in this as it will make a big difference in how we grow.
Employee Policies & Systems
You'll create an employee handbook that all employees can leverage to learn our internal policies and approach to operating. This includes creating a time off policy, benefits overview, and compliance documentation for our remote-first company. You'll also oversee our HR tools, systems, and benefits to ensure the team has access to the information they need.
