Northspyre is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Product to join our fast-growing, venture-backed start-up team. This is an opportunity to make a huge impact at a start-up disrupting the $2 trillion dollar real estate industry.

As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of our offerings, ensuring they align with the company's overall vision and goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional products that address market needs and drive growth.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's vision and market opportunities.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and manage a clear and prioritized product roadmap in close partnership with other leaders, considering market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Effective Communication: Articulate the product roadmap in a clear and easily understandable manner to internal stakeholders, external customers, and investors, fostering alignment and support.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to define successful go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and user behavior through direct interaction and data analysis.
  • Product Research: Lead product research initiatives to deepen understanding and prioritize features and enhancements. Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • KPI Monitoring: Establish and track product-related KPIs to measure success and inform data-driven decisions.
  • Budget Management: Take ownership of the product management team's budget and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to the product management team, driving continuous improvement and fostering a high-performing continuous feedback culture.
  • Collaboration with CTO: Build a strong partnership with the Chief Technology Officer to align product development with engineering capabilities and technical feasibility.
  • Product Organization Improvement: Build and enhance the structure and processes within the product organization, aiming for a seamless feedback loop and efficient, consistent product delivery.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a VC-backed B2B SaaS company.
  • Startup Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a startup environment, preferably during high-growth phases.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS products and the ability to quickly grasp the complexities of our industry.
  • Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of successfully developing and executing product strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Product Development: Previous experience leading end-to-end product development, from concept to launch.
  • Data-Driven: Experience using data and analytics to drive product decisions and measure success.
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional product teams, driving them towards common goals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative Approach: A collaborative and inclusive leadership style that fosters cooperation across teams and allows for trade offs without ego.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to understanding, defining and anticipating customer needs.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment and can effectively manage ambiguity.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters/MBA is a plus).

Bonus points if you have:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry 

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range, including variable compensation, for this role’s listed level is currently $200k - $350k but may vary based on local market data by region and performance against targets. Role levels and salary ranges take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, interview performance, skills, experience, knowledge, training and education, certifications and licenses, market data and other business needs.

This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
