Head TA: Software Development
Job Description
Summary
The Head Teaching Assistant plays a critical role in Correlation One’s SoftwareDevelopment Training program, a live, online software/web development training program for eligible Amazon Associates. In addition to our standard TAs, the Head TA specifically is responsible for live session management, ensuring a flawless experience for fellows, and representing Correlation One, while supporting the management of the TA team. Unlike standard TAs, the Head TA does not have an assigned learner group and is instead responsible for the general management of the live sessions.
We review applications on a rolling basis and expect to make all hiring decisions by March 15 with the opportunity to start as soon as possible based on availability to support current programs. Please note that applications and roles are filled on a first come first serve basis.
Description

This role is at least to support Software Development Cohort 3 but an opportunity to start earlier providing support for current programs and a potential opportunity to continue to serve as Head TA for additional Correlation One programs later in the year. See below for further details.
This role is ideal for a candidate with exceptional leadership and organizational skills seeking a flexible and meaningful opportunity to serve as a primary point-of-contact for learners and a team of TAs, as well as Lead Instructors. The Head TA should have TA and classroom management experience, be familiar with the web development curriculum and course material, and should feel comfortable answering related questions from the TA group.
