In this role, the Release of Information (ROI) Manager will partner with various Village Medical business units including the practice administrators to centralize and provide enterprise-wide support in response to requests for patient health information (PHI) from various types of requestors such as payors, attorneys, government regulatory bodies, patients, etc.

The Release of Information (ROI) Manager assists in the development and maintenance of the overall strategy for the enterprise, which consists of ensuring the highest quality product and customer service is upheld by the designated VillageMD Release of Information (ROI) vendor. Discretion, high integrity, organization, and attention to detail are all critical success factors for this role.
How you can make a difference
- Act as liaison between the physician practice and ROI vendor to ensure that the onboarding of NEW practice locations is being adhered to as set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Assist in oversight of performance management and workflow. The leader will test EMR functionality upon being made aware of potential system upgrades to mitigate potential interruptions in production.
- Partner with VillageMD training and development team to ensure all training modules are accurate in accordance with any changes to policies, procedures, and Athena system updates

Experience to drive change
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- RHIA or RHIT preferred
- 2-5 years Health Information Management or Medical Office experience required
- Athena experience preferred; previous experience with an EMR (electronic medical record) required
- Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $74,000.00 to $93,000.00. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
