About the Job
Thriveworks is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator responsible for onboarding all new clinical and administrative employees in a timely and efficient manner; they will be the first point of contact for all new hires and will ensure that all appropriate paperwork is complete. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and onboarding process updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Adding candidates to HRIS
- Submitting online investigation requests and assisting with new-employee background checks.
- Collecting all necessary documentation and triaging to various departments within the company
- Completing Forms I-9, verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining I-9 files.
- Adding administrative and clinical employees to our payroll system.
- Verifying employment eligibility status using the E-Verify platform.
- Tracking status of candidates in HRIS and responding with follow-up emails at the end of the recruiting process.
- Creating and maintaining HR files.
- Providing support for onboarding candidates regarding technical issues or other general process related questions
- Partnering with leadership in other departments to communicate any role-specific needs to the candidates in order to set them up for success in transitioning from candidate to employee
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Associates Degree preferred
- Requires 1 year experience in the related area as an individual contributor
