Job Description

SUMMARY: The role of the HRIS Analyst is to support and maintain ADP Enterprise and e-Time for BankUnited and subsidiaries. The HRIS Analyst must prioritize business requirements and will serve as the reporting point of contact for the HR Department. The individual is responsible for routine pulling of reports, report writing, user support, table maintenance, trouble shooting, system testing, and system implementations for e-Time and ADP Reporting. Provide support for a variety of Human Resources projects and the Payroll Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Administer the e-Time V.8 including but not limited to holidays/floating holidays, accruals, California accruals, carryover PTO, GEO tracking locations, training material, upgrade, and patches
  • Create, run and maintain ad-hoc reports for executive management, HR Staff, and other areas as needed using ADP Reporting or advanced Excel on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Assist HR staff, internal/external candidates in trouble shooting and resolution with EV.6.
  • Support EV.6 and e-Time system upgrades, testing, and other technical projects as needed.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset within HR/Payroll by proactively seeking ways to deliver superior results more effectively through formulating better processes, policies and decision making methodologies
  • Provide end-user assistance and train new hires in e-Time as requested. Create procedure and training documents as needed for e-Time
  • Create and interpret analytical reports to analyze employee payroll data. Consult with end-users on reporting needs and deliver appropriate reports
  • Assist in running e-time and payroll reports effectively resolving employee issues by providing appropriate investigation and making recommendations for appropriate actions while utilizing strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws in conjunction with applicable company policies and procedures
  • Lead, coordinate, and drive to completion assigned projects in e-Time and other related duties as required or requested.
  • Monitor and run reports in e-Time V.8 for managers, timekeepers and the Employee Relations Team
  • Regularly participate in HR staff/management meetings.
  • Process BTE or ACHs as needed
  • Assist and provide reports to internal and external auditors
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.)
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree required

EXPERIENCE

  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Human Resources and Human Resources system and reporting required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with ADP e-Time providing support during upgrades and testing required
  • Expert level experience with ADP Enterprise and ADP Reporting preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills and intermediate MS Visio skills a must.
  • The HRIS Analyst must be a team player that can think, analyze, and impact results both individually as well as part of a broader team process. The ability to think and create strategically as well as drive measurable execution (actions) is critical to success.
  • The HRIS Analyst must have the ability to build rapport, establish trust and credibility, maintain confidentiality of information, develop strategies, proposals and reports to improve the operations and efficiency of Human Resources. As a strategic HR partner, this role includes proactive participation in various meeting forums to help identify opportunities to improve Human Resources operation and procedural efficiencies.
  • Must have the ability to influence at all levels of the organization, with or without formal authority, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships.
