Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner supports the employee lifecycle at Cendyn and acts as an expert on a variety of HR matters. This role will consult with internal employees and leaders in order to ensure Cendyn employees are supported and have a positive professional experience while employed with Cendyn. The role will work in an international setting supporting employees in our regions of North America, EMEA or APAC.
Essential Functions:
- Support all steps of employee life cycle including onboarding/offboarding, HRIS support, learning and training initiatives, legal and compliance, employee relations, and culture development.
- Create meaningful and impactful relationships with employees and management throughout the company and serves as a consultant on various HR items.
- Coordinates and conducts new hire onboarding processes including the completion of new hire paperwork, first day set up, and orientation
- Partner with leaders to consult on employee related items; including but not limited to: employee relations, training, performance management, and compliance.
- Oversees employee file maintenance and manages employee records. Manages policy updates and HR process improvements.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees when navigating challenging personal or professional issues.
- Partners with internal departments such as payroll, benefits and accounting to resolve employee challenges.
- Partners with external providers to create a beneficial working relationship on a variety of programs such as International PEO, payroll service, legal advisor and immigration compliance
- Coordinates and conducts exit interviews, stay interviews and utilizes engagement survey feedback to determine engagement and training needs.
- Bring suggestions and ideas to address employee concerns and systemic employee issues.
- Complete ad hoc HR duties (e.g. diversity reporting, HR metrics, etc.)
- Acts as a leader by coaching, mentoring or managing performance of colleagues throughout the company
- Handles all responsibilities in multi-state and international setting for countries assigned
- Acts as a cultural steward; works with team members at all levels to further develop overall capability to foster a healthy, cohesive, collaborative, fun, fair, and equitable workplace
Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- At least 3+ years of solid experience in general HR duties.
- Tech savvy approach, comfortable using various HR tools including UKG Pro HRIS, Applicant Tracking System and MS Office applications
- Flexibility to work with international teams in different time zones including adjusting regular work schedule as needed beyond regular 9-5.30 work schedule.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience working in an international/global company setting
- HR Certification: SHRM – CP or PHR is a plus
- Experience navigating international HR challenges including awareness of different legal, cultural aspect of employee life cycle management.
- Familiarity with different country specific employment regulations

Work Environment:
This job operates in an office and/or home office environment. Working in an office environment requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to work with others in a moderately noisy open office environment with centrally controlled head/AC setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m and subject to changes by Manager’s communication.
Travel:
Up to 10% travel is expected in the position. Travel may be overnight and outside of regular business hours.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
This position requires an individual qualified to work in the US. No relocation or sponsorships are provided.
