1-on-1 personal coaching is incredibly effective for pro athletes, actors, and wealthy people. It's also outrageously expensive and often out of reach for normal people. Our leadership team came together from Apple, Airbnb, Nike, Google, and the NBA to invent an entirely new way to train.

As a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), you will partner with stakeholders to optimize our People Operations efforts. You will implement world-class HR processes, policies, and services. This includes coaching people leaders, and anticipating needs in the areas of employee relations, hiring, onboarding, communication, and training. Corporate functions include championing our social media presence, deployment of strategic HR initiatives, and helping streamline recruiting methods for the organization.
What does success look like- Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, coaching, compensation and rewards, data analysis, employee relations, learning and development, occupational health and safety, performance management, recognition programs, and strategic development
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and deliver human resource programs including, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for existing and open positions, aligning job descriptions
- Conduct 1/1s with people leaders, acting as a trusted partner, confidant, and coach
- Minimum 5 years of practical human resource experience (startup experience is a plus)
- Minimum 3 years of payroll/benefits experience
- SHRM certification a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Previous experience preparing and processing employee payroll
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn ADP and other talent management systems
