The HR Business Partner is responsible for driving HR initiatives pertaining to employee relations, totals rewards, performance management, succession planning, mentoring and development of high potential employees and leaders. In addition, the HRBP will develop and maintain an understanding of business strategies, vision, and challenges while proactively considering the needs of the business, and responding with appropriate human capital strategies, programs, and processes that align with corporate goals while supporting the assigned business unit. The ideal candidate would have expert coaching, influencing, facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiation presentation, process development, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Participate as key driver in HR program development in partnership with other senior HR staff.
- Act as key participant in company-wide HR programs and initiatives.
- Consult with business leaders on talent, leadership, business strategy, organization development, rewards, and culture.
- Work with assigned leaders and leverages resources of the HR team to support the needs of the business.
- Provide day-to-day as well as future looking guidance, coaching, and creative solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance.
- Partners with other HR employees to support organization-wide projects, including understanding their implications to the business and to our employees.
- Ensures leaders understand the tools and technology to perform essential HR functions such as performance reviews, development plans, annual objective setting, compensation planning, etc.
- Champions new initiatives in the areas of employee engagement and culture.
- Coach leaders and employees related to work challenges, change management efforts, managing poor performers, etc.
- Advises and instructs business leadership to establish strategic talent plans and objectives.
- Leads HR policy and program development in partnership with other senior HR team members.
- Viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent and member of the line leadership staff.
- Drives strategic and global HR initiatives pertaining to employee relations, total rewards, performance management, succession planning, mentoring and development of high-potential employees, and leaders.
- Provide proactive coaching and training of employees and managers.
- Provide HR analysis and reporting on various programs and data.
- May perform in an HR leadership role during acquisition and due diligence activities.
- Coordinate's integration of new employees to ensure proactive and thorough assimilation into their functional areas.
- Supports new strategic business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures.
- Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies client needs. Provides leadership in the planning, design, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business development objectives.
- Defines vision, strategies, and tactics for the assigned team.
Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant HR experience, including 3+ years managerial/leadership experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting Business Partners.
- Experience in managed services is preferred.
- HR professional certification or program experience is preferred.
- Project management experience is preferred.
Additional details
- Remote position
- Travel including overnight domestic or international trips will be required.
- Intermittent travel up to 35%.
