Tebra is seeking a HR Operations Specialist (HRIS & Benefits) to join the team to support our growing company. This specialist role will provide technical expertise and analytical support in the administration and execution of all benefits and people systems (HRIS). As a technical member of the HR Operations team, you will work collaboratively with internal team members and external vendors to provide technical expertise that support the complete lifecycle of our HR programs, systems, and processes. You will provide technical analyses, reporting, data interpretation, HRIS administration, and benchmarking to support the business. Additionally, you will be a subject matter expert and administer employee benefits (including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, FSA, COBRA, 401k(d)), leave of absence, and workers’ comp and ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and policies.

Your Area of Focus- Administer and maintain the company’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) with a strong focus on configuration and administration of the core HR system; Workday
- Run reports, build custom reports, and create reporting dashboards through Workday’s Business Intelligence (BI) portal; provide reports to People team and departments as needed
- Own survey management by administering our survey tools, developing quality assessments, and analyzing data and to make meaningful recommendations
- Analyze HRIS user’s requests, identify problems, research resolutions, and resolve technical problems for all HR applications and systems
- Manage all employee benefit plans and programs, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability & life insurance, COBRA, 401(k), FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other health and welfare initiatives
- Support Open Enrollment from start to finish (company wide communication, set up file feeds, etc.)
- Manage all compliance filings including, but not limited to 5500 filings, FSA discrimination testing, annual 401(k) audits, EEO-1, ACA reporting
- Serve as a liaison to the Payroll and IT teams on behalf of the HR Ops team
- Manage our vendor relationships (benefits broker, HRIS account manager, 401(k) administrator, etc.)
- Maintain project plans, documentation, communications for all HRIS related projects
- Own, implement and deliver HR programs and processes to drive efficiencies and enhance the employee experience
- Stay up to date on US HR laws (payroll, benefits, compliance, terminations, leave of absences, etc.)
- Model and reinforce our cultural values.
- 4+ years of experience in benefits administration, data, & enterprise HRIS management
- Strong preference for experience with Workday
- Experience with Excel and an ability to create data driven insights
- Tech-savvy and eager to learn new technology.
- Experience with Google Apps and HRIS systems (Workday, Greenhouse, etc.) is a plus.
