Human Resources Summer Intern

STR is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to assist with our HR department's needs to support events, onboarding, training and development, university recruiting, and other areas. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with various team leads in HR while obtaining industry insight.
What you will do:

• Assist in the coordination of STR's summer internship program and university recruiting initiatives
• Plan and execute STR employee engagement initiatives such as company events
• Participate in new hire onboarding tasks
• Assist with learning and development initiatives
• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in human resource management (candidates currently studying toward a degree in human resource management or related field preferred)
• Proven experience working in an office environment
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
• The ability to work as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication skills
