The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to build, maintain, and repair various HVAC equipment. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and ammonia refrigeration systems. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems, providing effective solutions for repairs. • Collaborate with team members to plumb new installations and ensure proper connections for HVAC systems. • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding service options and recommendations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations and repairs. • Adhere to all safety protocols while working in residential or commercial environments. Skills • Proficient in building, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable. • Strong troubleshooting skills related to equipment repair and appliance repair. • Knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components. • Ability to plumb new installations effectively. • Experience as a service technician is a plus. • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
