Implementation Lead will play a vital role in the Solutions Deployment team that implements Optimal Dynamics software for our customers.Β

Responsibilities:
- Lead design and discovery sessions with Optimal Dynamics customers
- Primary point of contact for the customer during the design phase and leads internal design reviews.
- Gather requirements and business use-cases from customers, understand their workflow needs and map those requirements to a solution design document
- Ensure development and delivery of a high quality Solutions Design Document
- Identify business value drivers and top KPIs for customers
- Identify best practices and business process improvements that will be helpful for the customer operations
- Review customer provided data for accuracy
- Support Integration team with the integration design and data mapping
- Identify, prioritize and document product gaps and change requests
- Gather business use cases required for user acceptance testing
- Formulate/revise user acceptance plan
- Identify potential risks for the solution deployment and customer onboarding
- Work with Optimal Dynamics Product, Analytics and Engineering teams to design and implement new features when needed to ensure that the features developed will meet the needs of customers.Β
- Prioritize Customer satisfaction for project success
- Report on project status to the leadership team on a recurring basis
- Ensure that the project team proactively identifies and troubleshoots critical issues, maintains and prioritizes project issue lists, suggests solutions, and escalates when appropriate. Ensure all critical issues are driven to closure
- Make sure that the work is completed on time and according to priorities set by customers
- Willing to travel onsite to customer sites when required, especially for design/discovery sessions
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 yearsβ experience in Software delivery projects, especially in the carrier/trucking/logistics industry
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Design or related degree
- Deep business understanding of the customer business & market
- Experience in functional requirement gathering and scoping of software projects with large customers
- Customer facing experience
- Fast & sharp β Working in an energized environment that needs to adapt to fast changes and implement them quickly
- Ability to communicate to the customer with confidence and influence design decisions
- Must possess great listening skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with Optimization, Dispatching or Transportation Management Systems
- Ability to quickly manipulate data in Microsoft Excel, and interpreting the real-world implications
- Know-how in project management methodologies.
- Technical background with product implementation, APIs, and integrations
- Technical knowledge and skills related to software solutions (SaaS environment)
