Implementation Project Senior Specialist

Summary of the role:

Assist the implementation project team through the definition and planning phases and then monitor and control the strategic project to completion using Project Management methodology. Responsible for problem resolution and project success.

In this role you'll

• Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.
• Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.
• Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.
• Build and manage the implementation project core team.
• Ensure coordinated action between Amadeus organization, external parties and customer implementation groups
• Centralize and follow-up technical issues
• Refine and finalize the implementation project scope with the Program manager
• Identify all activities necessary to produce all project deliverables
• Size the implementation project (implementation and gap activity)
• Estimate and identify resources with participating line organization units
• Build and validate detailed implementation project planning
• Consolidate and follow-up implementation project planning, resources, issues
• Define and follow-up implementation reporting (reporting structure and content, etc)
• Monitor project and ensure the quality of project deliverables
• Evaluate internal and external project risks and propose mitigation actions
• Communicate and report on project resources, progress, risks and costs to Program manager
• Escalate any issue impacting costs, project delivery timeline or scope to Program manager
• Support Program manager to implement CR structure for Financial purposes
• Attend Customer Project Status meeting and Project Steering Committee.
• AIT scope = Altea Products suite (Res, Inventory or DC) + related add-ons
