Working independently, the In-Market Sampling Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing in-market sampling campaigns to promote our products or services. You will work closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure the successful implementation of sampling initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong understanding of consumer behavior and marketing strategies. Employees in this position may interact with their leader when needed, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require their leader's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategic sampling campaigns aligned with the company's objectives and target audience.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to secure necessary resources, including product samples, promotional materials, and event logistics.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each sampling campaign.
- Oversee the execution of sampling events, ensuring proper setup, product display, and customer interaction.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Event Coordination and Logistics:
- Identify and secure suitable venues, events, or locations for sampling activities, considering target demographics and brand alignment.
- Coordinate with event organizers, ensuring all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance requirements are met.
- Manage all logistical aspects of the sampling events, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management.
- Train and supervise on-site staff or brand ambassadors to ensure a consistent and positive customer experience.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of local market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to optimize sampling strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sampling activities with broader marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with the sales team to ensure a seamless integration of sampling efforts with sales objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product managers, to secure product samples and gather necessary information for campaigns.
- Provide regular updates on campaign progress, results, and insights to relevant teams and management.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and health and safety requirements during sampling events.
- Collect and analyze data from sampling activities, including consumer feedback and conversion rates, to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, insights, and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Capture pictures of sampling events to be submitted with event recaps/reports.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience required; with emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of in field promotional experience or event coordination required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)
- Proficient experience in event coordination, field marketing, or brand activation.
- Proficient organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working Understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Car required for market travel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside of regular business hours, as required (weekends).
