Infor Birst Analyst

The Enterprise Systems team at Precision Medicine Group (PMG) is looking to add a Birst Analyst to support our expanding enterprise systems implementation and continuous improvement efforts. The Enterprise Systems team bridges the gaps between functional business requirements and technological solutions. We are looking for an individual to join our dynamic group as we partner with the broad portfolio of PMG businesses to provide technological solutions which empower them to progress on their mission of improving human health.

Primary Duties

• Provide reports, metrics, models, scorecards, and dashboards by transforming various functional requirements from different subject areas into stories and insights that drive business value and decision-making
• Design and develop ETL solutions using data integration tools for interfacing between source application and the Enterprise Data Warehouse to convert source tables into analytically ready data
• Gather and convert functional requirements, KPIs, and analytical needs to a dimensional model design with facts and dimensions
• Work with the data analysis team to assess and troubleshoot potential data quality issues at key intake points
• Assist in the maintenance of data integrity by conducting regular audits in reports and dashboards
• Recommends alternative data or analysis to management to improve processes, increase data integrity, and provide quality customer service
• Conduct and participate in unit, integration, regression and acceptance testing, and related activities
• Follow data validation processes to ensure accuracy of reporting data
• Design and develop security models within the BI platform to secure data appropriately

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business management, or similar field
• 1+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing Data Warehouses using any enterprise ETL tools, experience in Infor Birst a strong plus.
• History of functional and technical requirements gathering for Reporting and Analytics
• Expertise in SQL, report development, and transactional table relationships
• Ability to understand decision-oriented dashboard design and its alignment to the database
• Strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Birst Modeling or another BI and Visualization tool
• Experience working with Infor CloudSuite/Lawson ERP data preferred
• Experience working with AWS storage technologies like S3, redshift, etc.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards with a solid understanding of converting business requirements to a data warehouse design
• Experience on global BI projects
