Why this role
Evolve is the largest tech-enabled, asset-light provider of vacation rental management services in North America. We’re looking for an Information Security Engineer to design, build and implement security technologies and processes in a rapid growth, SaaS and cloud first environment. Reporting to the Director of Information Security, this role will lead our incident detection/response and vulnerability management capabilities. Â
What you’ll do
- Implement, manage and monitor tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats including endpoint (EDR/XDR), network, email and SIEM security solutions.Â
- Monitor Evolve’s attack surface to identify vulnerabilities and collaborate with technology owners to design remediation processes.
- Develop incident response playbooks to contain and minimize incident impact and lead technical forensic incident investigations.
- Create and report upon key incident detection/response and vulnerability metrics in support of Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance objectives.
- Document Information Security program requirements and processes in the form of policies, standards, and procedures.
- Build trusted working relationships with stakeholders to maintain and improve security posture. This includes leadership, external security and compliance partners and other stakeholders across Evolve.
- Stay informed about Cybersecurity threats and trends and make timely mitigation recommendations.
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of experience in an information security engineering role with direct experience leading security technology evaluations and deployments.
- Experience with vulnerability management program concepts, including internal and external scanning mechanisms and remediation processes. Familiarity with penetration testing and application security is a plus.
- Experience leading Incident Response processes and teams, including working with external forensics partners.
- Passion for the development of information security policies, standards and procedures.
- Experience supporting enterprise compliance programs and knowledge of control requirements (SOX, PCI, HIPPA)..
- Team player with a positive attitude..Â
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Location
Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania.
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $136,000 to $156,000, depending on relevant experience.Â
Additional comp details:Â
Equity: 50% of salary equivalent RSUs
Variable comp: 10% of salary target
