Your Impact
Joining a distributed team, you'll play an integral part for the design, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Anaplan’s Kubernetes platform and associated infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering and development teams to deliver a feature rich, reliable and predictable Platform-as-a-Service. Typical activities of a Platform Infrastructure Engineer would include:
- Researching and implementing additional platform functionality
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and platform performance issues
- Identifying opportunities for automation to remove manual tasks and improve platform reliability
- Architecting and engineering for scalability
- Addressing technical debt through platform and technology innovation
- Platform hardening and other security / compliance activities
- Supporting dev and engineering teams across the business on delivery of strategic roadmap item

- Experience of managing production infrastructure within / for an enterprise organisation
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerisation technologies
- Good knowledge of Public Cloud (AWS and/or GCP desirable) and Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform desirable)
- Prior experience in Linux system administration in a production environment
- Comfortable with scripting for automation (Bash, Python etc)
- Familiarity with configuration management tooling desirable
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tooling desirable
