The Opportunity

Tasks: Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities. Design scalable infrastructure, provide oversight and priority for system change reserve execution for complex implementations, and automate service delivery and maintenance tasks. Provide direction and priority for monitoring and tooling activities. Resolve highly complex technology production issues and lead troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span across multiple systems. Lead analysis of end-to-end system failures to identify opportunities across multiple systems. Make recommendations to business leaders on best solutions. Experiment with new patterns and technologies. Help establish and improve engineering best practices, concepts, and patterns with peers and the business. Understand the customer and proactively identify innovative solutions and ideas for the product/business. Mentor engineers, coach engineers on design, development, and maintenance of systems. Develop software defined infrastructure in code in CI/CD Pipelines. (20972.94)
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical field, followed by 72 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a computer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Developing, maintaining, and supporting solutions that make it easier for engineering teams to compile, deploy and test their applications;
2. Developing automated application deployments and integrations;
3. Developing plugins and scripts (Groovy and Java) that help orchestrate deployment automation;
4. Java coding for developing automated deployment solutions for engineering teams (JBOSS, WAS, and Datastage platforms);
5. Shell scripting for performing upgrade activities to enterprise source code management and deploy automation applications;
6. Developing and configuring automated continuous integration pipelines in source code management application;
7. Automation process from concept to implementation;
8. Developing monitoring and metrics dashboards in Splunk, Grafana, and Datadog applications;
9. Implementing and ensuring infrastructure security; and
10. Troubleshooting and resolving of production issues.
