Role Summary:
Serves as a technical consultant responsible for design, engineering and development of information technology solutions. This is an individual contributor role helping lead the design, analysis, development and implementation of integrated automated batch schedules. Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc. May be involved in the creation of design specifications and the development and application of utility programs. Responsibilities may include risks assessments and the diagnosis and correction of application/network problems. May serve as the primary contact for internal technology scrum teams and testers. Technologies span desktop, server, network data, database, cloud deployments and services infrastructure. Focuses on partnering thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
Major Duties:
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partner with delivery teams in various ARTs and other System Teams to establish automated batch schedules
- Manage all integrated batch schedules
- Work collaboratively with other Technology team members to support DevOps approach, environment maintenance, data and integrations infrastructure, etc.
- Troubleshoot & monitor issues in non-production environments
- Assist in planning and coordinating third party application software upgrades in all environments
- Work on custom automation solutions to support the team
Qualifications:
- Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an application development environment managing automation and batches
- 2+ years of experience working on complex, enterprise level platforms or solutions
- 2+ years of cloud experience with a focus on AWS automation technologies (Eventbridge, Step Functions, etc)
- 2+ years of CI/CD deployment experience using automated technologies (eg. Terraform, Cloudformation, Helm, Ansible, etc)
- Proficient experience working with Powershell
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of the technical domain to effectively support technical risks that may arise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent complex infrastructure troubleshooting and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to coordinate collaboration across multiple teams
- Ability to partner with senior leaders and influence the decision making process, collaborate across the organization and operate effectively within a matrix environment by resolving conflict and influencing others
- This role is WAH/Flex, which allows most work to be performed at home. WAH/Flex employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if they choose to come onsite or if required to periodically come on site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous support of QNXT, Elements, Facets or similar COTS application
- 2+ years of experience in same or similar field
- Medicare/Medicaid knowledge

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,800 - 161,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
