Integration Supply Specialist

Summary / Position Purpose:

The Integration Support Specialist implements new products, services, and operational solutions as well as improves existing capabilities. This role provides technical, operational, analytical, and research to support cross-functional teams across the Company. This role also supports incident resolution and root cause analysis of the Company's installations as well as assists in the development and maintenance of operational procedures, as well as workflows for the organization. A successful candidate will aid in the justification and implementation of solutions and the success of each RFID/ Vending/ Handheld installation.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

VMI

  • Provide training to end customers, Operations/Sales organization on applications (Hardware and Software based solutions)
  • Analyze current processes to identify areas of improvement.
  • Guide on vending proposals, contracts and DCS.
  • Assist the Zone/ Branch with VMI best practices.
  • Utilize Cost to Serve to proactively identify negative to low profit VMI accounts.
  • Support adherence to CRM / Playbook processes
  • Identify areas of improvement in the VMI process, sales process, and LOOP.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new and existing VMI opportunities.
  • Periodically visit existing VMI accounts and perform PDCA (Plan Do Check Act).
  • Relocation and re-purpose of VMI equipment within the organization.
  • Set up ICSPL list in SXe
  • Troubleshoot vending machines, VMI handheld, RFID hardware, and order entry issues as it relates to VMI.

RFID / Vending / Handheld

  • Program, Configure, and Install RFID applications (Readers, Antennas, Towers, Wall mounted applications).
  • Configure, program, and install Vending and Handheld solutions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot various applications to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Provide all necessary training to Company Applications to all Internal/External customers.
  • Purchase hardware
  • Other duties as assigned

Performance Standards

  • Meet or exceed RFID/ Vending /Handheld Installation quotas.
  • Provide on-site or remote support for all implementations.
  • Satisfaction index approval of internal customers for projects.
  • Meet and exceed profitability improvement goals of VMI accounts.
  • DCS utilization and functionality
  • Improvements to VMI processes
  • Improvements to HIS processes

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably in the industrial distribution or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access
  • Negotiating skills training a plus
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
  • Professional telephone and email etiquette skills
  • Customer focused/fast, friendly service mentality.
  • Strong Data Analytical skills
  • Product and supply chain solutions knowledge
  • Required travel up to 60% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
