Intern, .NET Developer/Data Analyst (Remote)
Job Description
This position combines technical and soft skills for the role of .NET Developer. The developer will work with technical architects and business analysts to produce high quality code that will be deployed in Azure. The developer will be responsible for working with other teams (Testing, Security, Data, etc.) to deliver solutions that meet the business requirements.
Responsibilities may include:
- Interpret technical requirements and provide an implementation that meets said requirements.
- Interpret business requirements and write adequate tests that guarantee delivery of code that meets the business requirements.
- Develop unit tests that ensure code coverage testing meets JM's standards.
- Work with QA to develop integration tests into a DevOps pipeline
- Identify and Triage bugs and propose solutions to correct the defect.
- Working with customers to identify and resolve defects in code.
- A strong understanding of core coding security concepts and mitigations.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program (June 5, 2023)
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- This is a remote position
- Interest in the IT or business technology domains
- Ability to effectively develop .NET code
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity
- Possess or have an aptitude for developing technical acumen
- Possess a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to adjust approach to meet all types of customer communication styles, preferences, and management levels
- Proficiency in translating business verbiage and concepts into technical terms
- Excellent and clear interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others, promoting strong team dynamics
- Must be highly flexible and adaptable
- Must be highly organized and have excellent follow-up skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality outcomes
