Advanced Algorithms Research Intern
The Internship program at ADI provides young professionals with the opportunity to gain professional experience within an innovative and global company. The Analog Garage Research Lab, located in Boston, MA, is driving innovative and groundbreaking technologies for Analog Devices in the fields of signal processing, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, communications, and other areas of electrical engineering and computer science. We are looking for advanced algorithm research interns to work with the Algorithmic Systems Group on cutting edge research problems in these areas.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
The internship positions are focused on machine learning and signal processing. The internship activities will depend on the type of internship but may include:
- Creating novel algorithms specialized for applications relevant to Analog Devices.
- Developing software simulations and analyzing performance of algorithms.
- Analyzing performance of hardware systems.
- Collaborating with other scientists and engineers to implement the algorithms on a suitable platform.
- Documenting and presenting research activities.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related field is normally required.
- Candidates should be working towards a Ph.D. degree in one of these fields.
- Candidates should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, signal processing, computer vision, algorithm development, or software development.
Preferred qualifications
- The candidate is expecting to graduate within the next two years.
- Has strong coding skills and experience implementing advanced algorithms in at least one of the following languages: Python, MATLAB, ROS, R, C/C++
