Intern, Content Marketing

The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.

The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).

We are looking for an aspiring Content Marketing Intern to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the best companies to work for in South Florida. The individual selected for this internship will be responsible for supporting the JM&A Group Marketing Department on various B2B and B2C marketing initiatives to help us build our brand and acquire new customers. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter who is passionate about marketing and learning from our team.

Responsibilities:

• Write content to support and promote digital marketing initiatives such as social media, blogs, eBooks, video, and email.
• Work alongside the brand content team by preparing marketing materials to help promote our brand.
• Working with our Digital Engagement Strategy team to refine marketing strategies, best practices, and the development and execution of communication plans, research and copywriting.
• Assisting content and creative teams with copywriting and development and by making enhancements and suggestions to improve our sites.
• Conducting marketing administration tasks such as data entry and analysis.
• Assisting the marketing team with projects when needed.
• Perform competitive marketing analysis, researching and pulling insights about our competitors.
• Participation in "End of Internship Presentation"

Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program.
• This is a full-time, hybrid internship.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Journalism.
• Completed at least one semester of study at an accredited college or university.
• Relevant completed coursework required.
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking required.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office required.
• Willingness to learn, research and bring some great ideas to the table.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting.
