Intern - Data Analytics Developer

The Data Analytics Developer intern will support the broader Enterprise Data & Analytics organization in its early initiative of tracking and measuring its data assets. This position will execute the digital data capture by coding solutions using tag management and analytics systems. Some front-end development is also involved to improve the user experience of internal web applications and dashboards. The ideal candidate should possess strong front-end development and tag management experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional requirements and use those technical specifications to implement digital tagging.
• Validate and debug tags regularly to assure consistent and accurate data collection for stakeholder consumption.
• Utilize HTML and CSS to implement front-end design of digital assets, dashboards, and reports
• Maintain an understanding of company policies, privacy, and legal requirements to ensure compliance with digital data capture.
• Ideate and keep reference documentation for global tag framework spanning multiple internal web applications, dashboards, and reports.

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

• Working on a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience with using Segment, Google or Adobe Analytics for digital data capture and tag management
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Advanced understanding of Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Chrome developer tools
• Experience with business intelligence systems (Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, etc.)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees
• Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated effective escalation, time management, and prioritization skills
