About the position:

We are looking for a summer intern to join an established tax team. The intern will report to the US Tax Manager, and also assist Senior Tax Managers in Mexico, Ireland, Singapore and the US. This position will assist the tax team with a variety of projects related to sales tax, partnership tax and various foreign reporting forms.⠀

What you can expect to do:

• Work with the US tax team to analyze purchase invoices, reconcile amounts, and create schedules to assist with a sales tax project.
• Assist with the preparation of tax forms 8858 and 5471 by pulling and reconciling reports in various currencies from Workday.
• Work with Indirect Tax Senior Manager in Ireland to analyze invoices from local service providers for VAT tracking.
• Assist with various Excel-based projects as they arise.

What we are looking for:

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Strong ability to take direction and apply it while working independently on projects.
• Detail oriented and able to self-review work.
• Ability to create work that is clearly referenced, easy to tie back to the source data, and well-summarized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work well on a cross functional team as well as operate effectively in a corporate culture.
• Other: strong communication, project management and organization skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 The annual gross base salary range for this position is $55,000 (prorated over 10 weeks)
