Intern, SET Business Strategy
Job Description
The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team's success, learn about JM Family's companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).
The individual selected for this internship will be responsible for supporting the SET Business Strategy department. Day-to-day activities will include research of automotive industry trends and themes, as well as, other functions to support team members. The ideal candidate will be innovative and adaptable with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Research of automotive industry trends and themes
- Participate in the Strategic Planning process (Objective & Key Results model)
- Develop presentations designed to communicate current goals and strategy
- Support key department strategy events
- End of Internship Presentation
Qualifications:
- This is a full-time, in-person position in Deerfield Beach, FL.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or automotive preferred
- Completed at least one semester of study at an accredited college or university
- Must be attentive to detail, collaborative, resourceful, and a good communicator
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Powerpoint)
- Ability to work in an ambiguous work environment
