Intern - UX Digital Design & Business Analyst

Zions Bancorp is offering the opportunity to join one of our development teams as a Digital Design and Business Analyst intern to support all digital design, including UI/UX mobile and web app, as well as supporting marketing content. As a Digital Design and Business Analyst intern, you will work closely within a warm and friendly cross-functional team. Partnering with product managers, user researchers, and software engineers, your work will bring digital experiences to life. Learning how to communicate your concepts and requirements to a cross functional team, you will gain experience working in an agile development environment. You'll collaborate with technology leaders and other developers to undertake a challenging project that will provide the opportunity for you to learn about new technologies, develop or enhance your skills, and make significant contributions to innovation at Zions Bancorp.

This position will work 40 hours/week, tentatively from May 9 - August 12 depending on intern availability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop the content for our digital products, applications, marketing, and websites

• Contribute to product vision using data, analytics, benchmarking, and user feedback to define problems and opportunities and clarify business and process requirements
• Drive effective communications plans that brings actions, decisions, resolution and completion of project tasks on time
• Partner with cross-functional team to inform decisions
• Communicate design solutions through sketches, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Define user test plans, conduct testing to validate concepts, and transfer insights into quality experiences
• Participate in scrum events with a team of software engineers to define how designs will be built, tested and released
• Other items as determined

Qualifications:

• Current student enrolled in a technical discipline working toward a BS or MS degree in Digital Design, Visual Design or other related degree.
• Confidence in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma and Invision
• Ability to use Visio and/or Powerpoint
• Understanding of SCRUM and user-stories creation
