Internal Communications Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key member of the Internal Communications team, leading our executive communication events and forums, including our global town hall meetings ("Open House"), VP meetings, executive Q&A and other executive communication events/channels.
• Support creative requests across the internal communications team, including design and video production.
• Evolve and reimagine existing executive communications channels, as well as introduce new ones designed to build trust in our leadership team and our company strategy - all in the name of driving employee engagement.
• Manage the full production of executive communication events, including speaker preparation, agenda development, coordination with our Studios team, scheduling and more.
• Be the eyes, ears, and heart of Yahoo's employee base understanding the culture, helping drive the employee experience, and partnering with various groups to enhance culture.
• Stay current on internal communications industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years supporting company-wide internal communication initiatives
• Mentality that is hands-on, be prepared to roll-up your sleeves
• 2+ years working closely with C-level executives
• Able to consistently deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments
• Build strong internal relationships to work collaboratively across teams and departments
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for seeing the full picture
• Self-starter with a drive for creativity, connection, and culture
• Exceptional verbal and written skills and the ability to crisply articulate concepts

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about. Most roles don't require specific regular patterns of in-person office attendance.
