Internal Communications Winter Internship

Position Summary:

The Internal Communications internship is a 4-month, part-time paid internship for the summer of 2023. This role requires an energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented person with writing, reading, and analytical skills.  

This role will gain meaningful experience in evaluating the communications needs of our employees across the globe by working on initiatives that support the development of internal communications at Pax8. Tasks will include researching, project planning, creating effective messaging and assets for diverse audiences, and assisting with various administrative needs. The role will prepare an individual for an exciting career in communications. 

Duties May Include: 

• Supporting and researching efforts focused on internal communications, engagement, and employee experience 
• Participating in strategy meetings by taking notes, identifying needs, and creating action plans 
• Developing, managing, and implementing a communications project 
• Participating in established critical team projects already underway 
• Writing, creating, and sharing content and messaging across multi-media internal communication channels

Desired Qualifications and Preferences:  

• Excellent writing and editing skills and highly detail-oriented  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and comfortable using and learning digital communications platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, etc.  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with deadlines
• Desire to do research, put together proposals, and present findings clearly and concisely
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken
• Inherently demonstrates a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and trust 

Required Education & Certifications:

• Completed or pursuing a college degree in communications or have relevant work experience
