A World-Changing Company

Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.

The Role

The Finance Team supports and empowers Palantirians through both day-to-day operations and creative problem-solving. As a Junior International Payroll Analyst you will be responsible for payroll administration — but you also spot inefficiencies, brainstorm solutions, and identify and drive projects to completion. In this role, you'll work functionally - designing, driving, and implementing workflow improvements. If you're constantly looking for ways to improve payroll processes because you're unsatisfied by the status quo, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leverage your understanding of in-house UK end-to-end payroll process and of international payrolls to optimise program workflows and ensure statutory compliance
  • Work cross-functionally to maintain accurate payroll records, including processing related inputs and resolving discrepancies
  • Conduct audit to ensure compliance for payroll taxes, equity compensation, fringe/benefit tax, and statutory audits as applicable
  • Ensure operational efficiency by documenting and continuously improving procedures and workflows, including adequate internal controls
  • Serving as the point of contact for employee inquiries, including promptly responding to questions and requests; and ad hoc projects as necessary
  • What We Value

  • Operate using systems and tools currently utilised by the team (e.g. Excel, Workday, Deel) or have the ability to quickly adapt to them
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Resourcefulness - ability to solve problems, including non-traditional or undefined problems, creatively and analytically
  • What We Require

  • 2+ years’ of UK payroll operations experience within a high-volume environment
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
